First show at @banksstreetbar Tuesday July 15th! 7-10pm, no cover. We’re super excited to announce not only our first show at Banks St bar, but also our first blues night! We’ve got an incredible lineup planned with Steve Chyzyk, David Breland, and Ed Barrett on guitar, Birdie on bass, Justin on trombone, and Eddie Christmas on drums. We’ve may even have some special guests drop in too. Grab a friend, grab a vet, and come support local veterans. We’re going to have a great time and promote mental health. It’s ok to go to therapy, it’s ok to talk about what you have going on inside your head. Talk to someone. We’re opening up practice on most Wednesday nights at @nolavfw starting this Wednesday 7/2 7-10pm. If the bar scene isn’t your scene, come check us out at practice. We’ll be working on new tunes and playing old ones too. VFW is byob, and feel free to bring drinks to donate to the hall. If you’re a veteran and interested in joining the vfw, Vetjams, or just the community, this is a great way to meet the band and check out the hall. Nola VFW is a beautiful space and we’re looking forward to being back in the hall making some noise! Come join us! Man yall are hearts are full after playing at @bastioncommunity last night. We started this band with the intention of creating community, engaging veterans, and spreading the word that therapy is ok. Last night was such an amazing culmination of the last few years of work. Finding community partners and support from organizations like Bastion is such a great reminder that we’re on the right track. Then! We booked our third reoccurring gig at @banksstreetbar right after we got done playing!
